I use them, too, but I also love the compact printers that let me print directly and quickly from a camera or memory card. Hewlett-Packards Photosmart A616 compact photo printer is one of my favorites because it prints both 4x6 and 5x7 prints that I can give to friends and family immediately. Plus, the unit can take a battery for truly portable use and allows you to include frames and borders, print black-and-white images and more, all in a unit thats only 10x4.5x5.1 inches in size. The freedom of uninterrupted shooting is also why I like high-capacity memory cards, especially when Im shooting RAW files. SanDisks Extreme IV CompactFlash cards come in capacities of up to 8 GB (the 4 GB suits my photography habits well) and boasts blisteringly fast download speeds of up to 40 MBps when paired with the SanDisk Extreme FireWire reader.
