The Samsung Digimax S800 is an 8.1-megapixel digital still camera that can shoot MPEG-4 640 x 480 movies at 30 fps. It provides some built-in editing capabilities as well as a Movie Stabilizer function.
The Canon DC40 DVD camcorder records movies directly on DVDs and 4.3-megapixel still images to SD cards, can record movies and still images simultaneously, does HR 16:9 wide-screen movies, and has a built-in video light and built-in flash unit for still shots.
The new Pentax Optio A10 is an 8-megapixel digital still camera featuring the highly efficient and widely compatible DivX movie compression technology. It has a 2.5-inch LCD monitor and a built-in Shake Reduction system.
Panasonic's pocket-sized Lumix DMC-TZ1 is a 5-megapixel digital still camera that can shoot 640 x 480 VGA and wide-screen 848 x 480 movies at 30 fps. It incorporates a 10X optical zoom and MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer.
The Nikon Coolpix P4 is an 8.1-megapixel digital still camera with lens-shift VR (Vibration Reduction), a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, 23 MB of internal memory, and the ability to shoot 640 x 480 movies at 30 fps with sound, and time-lapse movies without sound.
