Adorama’s Camera & Notebook System Bags |
Available in three models—Commander, Officers and Executive—
Adorama’s Camera & Notebook System bags are designed to conceal your expensive gear with a look that resembles a briefcase more than a typical camera bag. The interior of each bag measures 12.5x12.5x7 inches with three compartments for holding your camera, laptop (up to 15 inches) and additional items such as memory cards and cell phones. The main compartment features a padded camera cradle and dividers. On the outside, you’ll find a mesh water bottle pocket and zippered compartments in the front and rear. The Commander bag comes in water-resistant nylon, the Officers model in leatherette and the Executive in leather. List Price: $59 (Commander); $69 (Officers); $99 (Executive).
Tamrac Aero Speed Pack 85 Model 3385 |
The problem with many photo backpacks is lack of space for anything besides cameras and lenses. The T
amrac Aero Speed Pack 85 Model 3385 solves this issue by providing a generous stowage area in the upper section and a roomy, padded compartment for a 17-inch notebook PC along the back, plus a dual-access storage chamber for photo gear. One easily can pack a large SLR with a mega-sized 70-200mm ƒ/2.8, three additional lenses, flash and several accessories, plus a raincoat, lunch and a bag of filters. Worn like a traditional backpack (with agreeably simple, padded straps), the Aero Speed Pack 85 also can be worn over one shoulder and accessed like a sling pack. This backpack is brimming with convenience features—two locking pouches that hold lens caps (up to 77mm or so), a comfortable padded top handle and a pair of lash tabs on the bottom for tripod attachment. All exposed zippers are weatherproof, and an elasticized mesh pocket on the side allows easy access to a water bottle, GPS or cell phone. Estimated Street Price: Starts at $119.
Tenba Roadie Universal Photo Roller |
TENBA has expanded its popular Roadie series of rolling equipment cases for 2024. The new
Roadie Universal Photo Roller meets strict airline carry-on restrictions with margin to spare (it’s just 20x14x8 inches), but still accommodates a large SLR with 400mm lens attached. Constructed of durable, water-resistant ballistic nylon and reinforced at key stress points, Roadies feature self-healing YKK zippers and other top-notch hardware to assure long service life and the ultimate in equipment protection. Urethane inline skate wheels allow the cases to roll smoothly and quietly. The interior can be customized to store camera gear and nonphoto equipment—or the storage module can be removed to convert the Roadie into conventional travel luggage. Travelers will appreciate the expandable front pocket that allows temporary storage of a notebook PC while navigating through airport security and the convenient side-mounted tripod holder. Estimated Street Price: $269.
