the selection of images for taking them out of the origianl background can be a very tricky and time-consuming matter. A number of plug-ins was created to make the process quicker and easier and the result better.

Your page link is dead... the dreaded 404 not found error. As far as masking software... being a PS user for 16+ years now, I still find the best way is done by hand. However, if you want a quick and dirty way to get a DECENT masking job done, I highly recommend (and use on occasion) Mask Pro 3 from Extensis. Hands down the best one out there per my experience. |

Thanks a lot for reporting the error, I corrected the link.
I absolutely agree that MaskPro 3 is the best tool so far.
As for hand work - the most difficult cutouts are never quickly done. Mask Pro and a couple of other programs make the difficult process a bit easier though. |
